These challenges can be done in any order, but must be completed with the minimum number participants. They must complete a tasks in order to defeat the boss

Octopus Puzzle - Can Do Throughout (Proctor not needed)

• As soon as the players complete the puzzle, they will receive a tentacle.
• The puzzle is divided into 8 bags scattered around the area, you must find the pieces first, and each piece will lead to the next.
• As soon as the players build the puzzle, they will receive a tentacle

Cipher Cracking (3 people) (Proctor not needed)

• Two people will be on opposite sides of the field filled with symbols and letters. A third person, the symbol caller will be far from the field. The symbol caller will have a list of runes that correspond to different letters. When the symbol caller describes the rune to the two players, they must run around and use a string to correctly match up each rune to the letter that the end of the string hits when it is taut. The symbol caller will notate the letter and this will continue until the cipher is solved.

As soon as the players figure out the cipher, they will receive a tentacle

Spaghetti Tower (1-8 people) (Proctor not needed)

• You must make a tower 4 ft
• The height is the answer to the riddle cypher
• Once the structure has been made, players earns you a page from the book, and a letter of the Octopus’ name (cypher)
