During the initial boss fight, they will compete in a series of tasks against an actor playing the octopus that will be impossible for them to beat because they do not have the right tools. Once the players receive all the advantages from completing the other trials, they they will switch their disadvantages with the advantages of actor playing The Octopus.

Examples of Boss Fight Advantages and Disadvantages

• Tiles: Player must complete against The Octopus to put tiles in the order of 1-10.

  • Advantage: Number blocks
  • Disadvantage: Letter blocks

• Secret Number: The player will guess a number in The Octopus’ head.

  • Advantage: The Octopus is always right, the player is always wrong.
  • Disadvantage: The player is always guesses right.

• Memory Card: The player must search their deck of cards to find a card that perfectly matches the image draw from the deck of cards in the middle of the table.

  • Advantage: The Octopus has an identical pack
  • Disadvantage: The player has an identical pack

• Spaghetti Tower:

  • Advantage: The Octopus has large pieces of spaghetti, the player’s pieces are broken.
  • Disadvantage: The player has large pieces of spaghetti, the Octopus’ pieces are broken.

• Paper Airplane

  • Advantage: The Octopus has regular paper, the player has a wooden plank
  • Disadvantage: The Octopus has has a wooden plank, the player has regular paper
