Players are all deplorable people whom the devious Count N. Crows despises. He believes that two of you have had a hand in his death, but he doesn’t know which.

To weed out the traitors from the innocents, players will be using “marks” (stamps) to nominate those they think are traitors. However, these marks are deadly— two marks equals an exit from the game. Each thirty minutes, the group will know if a traitor has been marked.

If the innocent can find out who the traitors are before the third caw of the crow, he will spare the innocents lives and distribute his fortune among the remaining innocents. However, if any traitors remain at the end of the game, the prize will be evenly distributed between them.

Each round will consist of:

Parlor Games

Each parlor game is a short, roughly 5 to 10 minute game, where the winner will receive a scarecrow talisman. This talisman will make them immune to receiving a “mark”.

Up to 4 spectres will also participate in the parlor games. If a spectre wins, the spectres get to decide who the give the talisman to.

Marking Ceremony

During the marking ceremony, contestants will sit in a circle and vote for who they wish to be marked. They will read their votes aloud, giving an explanation if they wish. If the player is marked two times, they then become a spectre. They may not vote for themselves.

In the event of a tie, the spectres will decide who gets the mark.

The Silencing

After the marking ceremony, players will blindfold themselves, and one by one be escorted into the annex, where they will not see the other players who are with them. They will not be allowed to talk while they are blindfolded.

The traitors will remain in the room where they can discuss who to mark. Once the players return, they will take off their blindfolds, and the proctor will that chosen player in front of everyone.

When an eliminated player becomes a spectre, they will either be either on the side of the innocents or on the side of the traitors. Players in the game will not know who is on what side. The living cannot talk to spectre, Only spectres can talk to spectres.

The Armorer

Before the game begins, players will mingle and vote for an armorer. This role has the special ability to remove a player in the game during a marking ceremony. They have two bullets, meaning they can eject two players. However, they must get the consent of 5 other players in the game in order to use the bullet. Unlike everyone else who needs two marks to be killed, the armorer can receive up to three marks before they are killed. The player who is the armorer can be an innocent or a traitor.
